October at Shalom Yeladim Tenafly
Sukkot
We are so excited about our Fall activities! In October, we will celebrate Sukkot together. The children will decorate our school's sukkah and have a feast in it. We will taste many new fruits and vegetables too.
The Library
Our older students will begin their weekly visits to the Tenafly Public Library. Our librarian, Ms. Tisch, will teach us how to find books we may be interested in and how to borrow them.
Back to School Night
We will be having our Back to School Night in October. This evening is for parents to come and spend some time in their child's classroom, speak in depth with the teachers and ask any questions they may have. They will learn how the children are adjusting and coming together as a class and discover the goals each age group has set for the students.
