We strive to create a warm and loving space for your child, providing the security to explore and grow throughout these early years.  We encourage independence through pretend play, arts & crafts, music and physical movement.  We feel children are most successful when given a combination of free choice and teacher guidance. Our curriculum is deeply rooted in Judaism and the Israeli culture.  We celebrate all of the Jewish holidays and enjoy a weekly Shabbat party.  Children look forward to baking their own challah, singing Shabbat songs and being the Shabbat Ima or Abba.  Each classroom at Shalom Yeladim has a Hebrew-Speaking teacher and we incorporate Hebrew language into our morning circle, project time and throughout our day.  We instill a love of community and Judaism through our weekly Shabbat parties, Yom Haatzmaut trip to Israel, mock Pesach Seder, Chanukah performances, Purim carnival and much more!  We welcome you to join our family!

היהדות והתרבות הישראלית מושרשות באופן משמעותי בתכנית הלימודים שלנו. אנו חוגגים את כל החגים היהודים ונהנים מקבלת שבת שבועית. הילדים מצפים לאפיית החלות שלהם, לשיר שירי שבת ולהיות אמא / אבא של שבת.

בכל כיתה ב"שלום ילדים" Tenafly יש מורה דוברת עברית ואנו משלבים את השפה העברית בזמן מפגש הבוקר שלנו, בזמן הפרויקטיים ולאורך כל היום.
